Looks like Hilary Duff delivered the goods for "SVU." From Fredfa's "Hot Off The Press" thread:

There's been loads of speculation lately over whether lead actors Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni will return to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit next season. They're reportedly in negotiations to continue on with the 10-year-old show, amid word that a major character will be killed off before season's end.
All the buzz may have helped boost viewership for SVU, which last night garnered its best ratings in months.
The NBC drama averaged a 3.9 adults 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen overnights, up 44 percent over last week's 2.7 and its second-highest rating of the season.
It was the show's best outing since January, and NBC easily won the timeslot over second-place CBS's Without a Trace, which averaged a 2.5.
Meanwhile, Fox won the night with a 6.0 average overnight rating and 16 share. NBC was second with a 3.7/10, CBS third with a 3.2/8, ABC fourth with a 2.0/5, Univision fifth with a 1.7/5 and CW sixth with a 0.8/2.
As a reminder, all ratings are based on live-plus-same-day DVR playback. Seven-day DVR data won't be available for several weeks. Thirty-one percent of Nielsen households have DVRs.
At 8 p.m., Fox led with a 7.9 for American Idol followed by CBS with a 3.4 for NCIS, NBC with a 3.1 for The Biggest Loser, Univision with a 1.5 for Cuidado con el Angel, ABC with a 1.0 for According to Jim and the CW with a 0.7 for Reaper.
At 9 p.m., Fox and NBC tied for the lead with a 4.2 each, the former for Fringe and the latter for the second hour of Loser. CBS was third with a 3.7 for The Mentalist, followed by ABC with a 3.2 for the Dancing With the Stars results show, Univision with a 2.0 for Manana Es para Siempre and the CW with a 0.9 for 90210.
At 10 p.m., NBC led with a 3.9 for SVU, followed by CBS with a 2.5 for Trace, ABC with a 1.7 for Cupid and Univision with a 1.6 for Aqui y Ahora.
Among households, Fox won the night with a 9.7 average overnight rating and 15 share. CBS was second with a 9.5/15, NBC third with a 6.4/10, ABC fourth with a 5.3/8, Univision fifth with a 2.2/3 and CW sixth with a 1.2/2.
