Can't supply any details as I saw it on HDNet, although there was an almost constant rumble for the first 10-12 minutes which recurred intermittently the rest of the way. Wouldn't call it reference quality, but it is as good or better than a number of others on the list. At least it kept my sofa vibrating (Buttkicker). Bottom octave bass was used effectively to subtly establish a foreboding mood, although there is the occasional big boom as well.

Not a movie for those with little tolerance for convoluted plot lines, unclear motivations, and illogical or unresolved details, though.

thanks! will add it soon.

Ticker-(2001)

the resteraunt explosion after Dennis Hopper plants the Bomb and leaves.
the big explosion and heavy gunfire at the beginning.

Speed 2: Cruise control SE and standard edition-

The Ship moving at high speed, the engine explosion, the pumping musical score, the tanker collision,The ship crahing into the dock and the Gigantic Supertanker explosion at the End.

The Silencers-(1996)

The entire movie! I can hardly beleive its only Dolby 2.0! there's over 20 action scenes in this movie! There can NEVER be too much action.

Is the "Pulse" movie that is listed on the front page a Japanese movie from 01? Is one of the characters named Junco?
it's the remake from `06..not the Japanese original.

Dr. P. You need to add Hot Fuzz to your list as I watched it over the weekend with the wife and it is a bass festival. You will love it.
Two movies to add to your list that not many may have seen.

1. Breed (Clive Barker produced low budget horror)

2. Opening credits in Peaceful Warrior.

Sorry DOC, I already returned the rental. It's the end of the last chapter, just before the credits.

Add to this list...

THE HOST

Excellent Deep Bass throughout the movie. In all of the monster scenes.

Some of the Best Bass in a movie since Master and Commander and War of the Worlds.

I watched the Blu-Ray version but I imagine the Regular DVD version would be excellent to.

which movie?

For some reason, imdb has it as "Gwoemul" which is probably the Korean title phoneticized in English. But just about anywhere you go to look for it, it will probably be called "The Host."
