Our TV is turning off after an hour of use. When we turn it back on, it shuts off even quicker the next time. I am assumming that it is overheating, but how do we fix it? Help please! Thanks!

If it is not in a location that gets plenty of ventilation all the way around especially behind and above you need to move it as yes it sounds like it is overheating. Otherwise the fan in the unit may have failed and need to be replaced but

Can we replace the fan in our HDTV ourselves? I saw one for sale for around $46.00. Is this the right price for the fan?

did you ever figure out the issue? My 56 inch samsung DLP is randomly shutting off. They are coming tomorrow to take a look at it.
