Can't attach it here because it is 5MB and the max attachment allowed here is 500Kb
What potential benefits did this firmware upgrade add, either for the 237 or the 537? After reading this thread off an on for a couple of years, I've never been clear on this.
The only significant consistent issue I've had with my 237t Olevia is that the audio won't remain in sync with the video when using the built-in tv speakers AND broadcast content is being sourced from an outside tuner/DVR (Tivo HD in this case). When the Olevia LCD is hooked up directly to antenna feed or a dvd player, no problems with audio/video sync.
I turn on the LCD when using the Tivo tuner as the source, the sync is lost and I have to re-apply the lip sync control. I can send it in under my extended warranty, but I fear it's too vague of a thing for them to witness. They certainly won't experience it simply by turning the tv on and off while being sourced from a dvd or antenna feed.
I've subsequently picked up a Samsung plasma and have had zero issues with sync, so I can't blame the Tivo.
