Any 32" 1080p LCD's?

I'm planing to buy a LCD that I could use as a PC monitor and as a TV. The 37" sets I think are a little to big for working with my PC.

I was told by a salesperson that the human eye can not tell the difference between 720p and 1080p if the screen is smaller than 42". I don't know if it is true. He said the only way to see the improved picture quality of 1080 was to increase the size of the screen.

If there was a 32" TV that could display 1080p on it, the extra cost would be pretty much worthless. On a screen that small I'd doubt you would be able to the the different between 1080i and 1080p unless you're sitting about 5 inches from the screen. Even then the difference would be extremely small.

Yes, you can easily tell the difference you just have to sit closer.

Yeah, I know that it's not worth it for a TV, but 1080p looks awesome on playing games with my PC or PS3. And most of the time I would use this screen for my PC, I watch TV about an hour per day.

I tought about the new BenQ 24" Monitor with 1920X1200 resolution.

But it streches all singlas to 16x10 format, and with 24 inches it's probably to small, because my bed is about 15 feet away from my desk :(

You'll be happier with the 27" 1080p that is coming in January. Perhaps 32" 1080p will come out then also.

Alternatively you might prefer a 37" 1080p. Weird that we have 1080p above and below 32" but no 32" 1080p.

ya, it's called a monitor though, not a tv.
