I have not posted any personal information about Eddie that he has not already put out on the web for the world to see.

Yes, I am Eddie's sockpuppet.

I just don't think it's right that the guy appears out of nowhere, follows MovieMinded all around the internet, post a ton of negative stuff and seems to be on multiple forums solely to bash him.

Is HDDVDWorld a good site? Not really but I wouldn't call it a horrible site either. Even though most of the movies I ordered showed up late (only one showed up before the release date), I did recieve them eventually and he even overnighted me another copy of Planet Earth after mine went MIA. After I wasn't happy with my preorders showing up late, I asked him to refund the rest of my order and he did.

There are many sites way worst than his worth raging against.

Possibly, but then you probably haven't personally been lied to or called a liar by the head of said company in a public forum.

You probably also haven't been accused of theft, trademark infringement or of working for a competitor.

I'm sure there is more than enough info in this thread for people to make up their own minds now, but I did not want to see him coming into another forum that I am a member of spruiking his wares and sucking in more people.

edit: I'm not following him "all around the internet". There are two forums that I am a member of that he has decided to use to sell his wares. In both cases I decided it was the right thing to do to warn the other forum members.

Andrew.

Well that isn't very hard to imagine.

Really, out of all of your posts at High-Def Digest (94 posts) only one isn't a post about HDDVDWorld.

Here you have about a 20% post ratio about HDDVDWorld, all of them in this thread you bumped, all attacking the site.

True.

I was a long time reader of highdefdigest, and only really found a need to post after my experience with hddvdworld (which happened because of a promotion he ran through that site).

I've been a reader here for ages, only registered an account when I started buying into HD DVD/BD.

I don't post a lot, because those parts of the forum almost invariably turn into a **** fight ...

Not that I really need to defend myself

edit: I spend most of my time on the Aussie dtvforums where I have been a registered member for more than 3 years and have over 4,500 posts. So it's not like I've just come out of nowhere ...
