Sony and Samsung have 40' LCDs, I think 42' would be perfect, but anything in that kind of range would work. What exactly makes one tv better than another, outside of someone's opinion? I know with computer monitors people talk about response times, but that there isn't a good way that they're measured. Again there is also contrast ratio and resolution, but a lot of times reviewers will say things like "inaccurate color reproduction", or that greens don't look good, or that the colors wash, or something like that. How do you know that looking at the sec sheet?
I had never heard of Amoi. I looked that their website and I didn't see any 1080 tvs.
Is there a good website that does objective reviews of tvs? Cnet doesn't seem to do all that many, and I don't know how knowledgeable it is.
