MythTv .20 - Added Dvico 5Gold, reports Zero signal strength in OSD?

I have a mythtv .20 frontend/backend with 2 Air2pc r.02 cards and I just added a Dvico Fusion 5 Gold. The Air2Pc cards report the signal strength in the OSD when changing channels, but the Dvico card always reports 0 signal strength in the OSD even though it seems to tune the OTA HD channels better than the Air2PC cards.

Anyone else experiece this?

There was a lot of discussion about how to implement it over the past year (there were a number of technical reasons why). It will be in featured in 2.6.20. See:

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to make sure I didn't "break" something during the install of the Fusion card.

I Just installed MythTv on my computer. It has the same problem with DVICO 5 Gold. I also notice that the receiver performance is poor compared to the windows version of software with the same antenna. With that software my signal was 90-100% and no stuttering of video or audio. The mythtv performance looked like the signal was weak. Maybe it is a tuning or driver issue? I am still trying to figure it out.

I never could get my Fusion5 to show a signal strength under MythTV. When I swapped my server from MCE to MythTv, I didn't notice any difference in my ability to lock on to a signal, or signal quality. The Fusion5 performed the same. I'm now using my Fusion5's for QAM, so signal strength really isn't an issue anymore.

I would point out that if you haven't done anything with your antenna between the swap, that a video stutter could be a problem with your video driver. I had a strange problem where 2 of my HD channels would stutter badly. It turned out to be the Nvidia driver I was using. For some reason it would peg the Xorg process at 100% as soon as I tuned to those channels. I updated to a newer Nvidia driver ( don't remember the exact version number off the top of my head, but it was a 9xxx series driver) and that solved my stuttering problem.
