Converting FLV to AVI

Thread Starter
I have tried downloading several free trials for programs that are supposed to convert YouTube videos (which I can save as FLV format) to AVI files, but I'm not having any luck successfully converting. Does anyone have any ideas how I can do this or know of any programs that work well? Thanks.

I work at a TV station in Nashville... and I have been using a product called Moyea FLV to Video Converter. It is the only way I have been able to get YouTube videos converted so we can import them into our editing system. You can convert to AVI, or Quicktime. The program has a free trial.

Hope this helps,
