From my experience, you can't pick up digital/HD channels when the antenna is connected to input 'B'. It would be nice if they told you that in the owner's manual!
The other thing is that even once you do get your antenna connected on input 'A', you need to run channel setup again for it to 'figure out' that there are HD channels available.
As a side note, before learning the above, I had my antenna on 'B' and didn't have any blue light problems. But I was wondering, "What the hell, is this HD?"
