The only way you'll be able to get replacements would be to grab them off of a damaged player that has a good panel. Not really worth it for just the panel!!!
That being said, it depends on how they're broken. I had one that I bought that would get locked, and found when opening the case it had just popped out of the socket. Easy fix. Another easy fix would be replacing the spring (I think it has a spring... been a while). If the panel is damaged, as in the "pin" has snapped off, you're not going to have much luck, but you could just remove it, and risk the extra dust getting in through that open panel. You're no doubt well out of warranty, so I wouldn't hesitate in exploring inside to see if you can get it aligned and working.

I think I have most of the HD DVD titles I want already, so that is why I set my $1 limit. I have about 50 or so HD DVD and haven't re-bought any of them on Blu-ray.
