Those are fantastic Quadra Are they finished or are they awaiting some more touches on the back? (I assume you're going to put something in the blank space on each cover)

Love those Oceans covers... I will certainly be getting them, VERY CLASSY!!!
Those look great quadra!

Just noticed the covers are up for download so I assume they're done. I guess I'll add something there myself...just seems empty.

Agreed in certain cases, but such a wide open square of space screams for some loving.

Quadra, those ocean's covers are pretty slick
post #2948 of 3563
Those Ocean's covers are sweet. I do agree, however, that the one space seems prime for a good picture.

Just my two cents (to each their own), but I like the the Oceans cover the way they are. Clean style and simple elagance.

Great covers Quadra! I think the space on the back helps to emphasize the different colour schemes for each cover, whilst retaining the same overall style for the set.

Here is my custom for A Clockwork Orange.

^Awesome!

Twistedlp, is it really supposed to say "This HD-DVD is copy protected?"
I LOVE the Ocean's covers! How about putting the number for each movie on the back in the empty space? Just something basic that wouldn't be over the top that I personally would think looked cool.

That's exactly what I did.

Snowknight...care to explain? Was that a joke?
Wait, I'm confused.... Did Quadra rip off Twisted's cover or did Twisted go and just edit that in?

I was emphasizing the fact that there isn't supposed to be a dash between the letters, nothing else.

My sincerest apologies, I wont ever make such a monumental mistake again!

I missed your meaning as well. I thought you were saying something about HD DVDs and copy protection.

Can someone PLEASE make a nacho libre hd DVD cover.
I'm also looking to replace my "swooshed" covers of spartacus and field of dreams. Does the "Swooshinator" want to take a crack when he has time?
Pretty please

(Example: You (as the original artist) submit a HD DVD custom cover for Nacho Libre and don't feel comfortable with the site's 1 Credit Cost per download, then make a note in the description that you'd like the cover to be Free, or 1/2 credit). Regardless of the cost of the item to the other members, you'd still get the standard credit award for uploading the cover (if approved).

If this constitutes spam, someone delete it and accept my apologies. I'm just trying to get my Hi-Def section a boost

In other news, I'm working on a Transformers (convert of my existing DVD cover), and have plans for I Am Legend, Rush Hour 3, Shoot 'Em Up and Last Samurai.

Yes, I consider this post as spam because why should I pay with money to get credits instead of posting to receive them? I've never supported you Dagon on this site or any other. I feel your covers are shoddy and that you're greedy for people to pay for credits on your site. Was I ever refunded when I was with DVDCoverArt.com? Thank you for extorting my money.
All the other covers, with the obvious exception of the usual Harry Potter drivel, are very nice visually.

I don't judge Dagon's covers, as I've never visited his site, but I do have a problem with people paying to be able to download custom covers. When people are charging for something that is the intellectual property of a studio, it always raises the risk of studios "doing a Lucas" and shutting people down. When the covers are distributed with no financial elements, I don't think anyone is bothered.

Just my 2c.

Guys..... Can I remind you AGAIN, what happened to the D-VHS cover thing here on AVS, please let this go before the mpaa gets wind of this, thanks. Remember D-VHS never was as big as HD Optical is now!

BTW: Pay for hobby sites suck IMHO

I'm not fully in the know, but apparently people were charging to download them. As such, the studios saw it as people making money off their intellectual property and shut it down. The coversation was had earlier when some guy got caught selling our covers on Ebay.
