BR $10 rebates

For those who received TN with their ps3, there was a booklet coupon that was inserted for 10 bucks off for selected BR moives from seven different studios. Does this applies to online purchases?
Sure... just remember to keep the receipt when the movie gets delivered. I ordered a whole bunch last night using multiple orders with Buy.com's $20 off of $50 order coupon. So with the $10 BD rebate, they're going to be pretty dang cheap.

Did you send the buy.com packing slip, or the receipt from google checkout that was emailed to you?

That's what I want to know too. I think I'm going to send both. The packing slip looks more "official" but then it's not a receipt either.

On Buy.com's website you are able to view and print out a receipt for your transaction. This is the receipt I included with my rebates.

I sent the e-mail that says that my order has shipped because it shows the purchase price along with proof that the item was actually purchased and not just ordered which could be cancelled. I'm hoping that is accepted.

The packing slip is not a receipt. I also would not use Google's receipt...print out Buy.com's receipt via their website.

Your proof of purchase from the dvd is evidence you did not cancel the order.

Why not? It says purchased from buy.com on it.

I guess as long as it shows the purchase price on the packing slip you should be okay. Alot of packing slips I have received just indicated what was contained within the package and did not include purchase price.

I wasn't talking about the packing slip. I was talking about the google check-out e-mail receipt.

Gotcha....should work ok. I just figured using the actual receipt from Buy.com would not produce any issues from the rebate police. They can be pretty picky sometimes.

Has any1 gotten their rebate yet? I included the buy.com packing slip and order confirmation email in mine.

i would like to think they wouldn't try to screw ppl on this particular rebate because it would look bad for blu-ray and possibly make ppl go to hd-dvd.

but i dont know. it seems every time i submit a rebate they try to screw me out of it somehow. *cough samsung, cough microsoft*

I don't have any receipts from buy.com, they are only google checkout. Buy has no record of my transaction since you don't even have to signin to buy the product with google checkout.

I'll just send in that though. It's a receipt and that's all that matters.

Yes they do have a record of the transaction. You go to Buy.com's site and look up your order under google checkout. They also have a look up for paypal orders. You need your order number, last name and phone number.

I go into these rebates thinking I will never see it so if I get one it is a plus. As you said, some of these places try and screw people out of rebates for the dumbest reasons. I do not believe people will have too worry too much on this rebate.

Do they need to be new or can I buy them used and still get the rebate?

I would say as long as you have a receipt showing your purchased the movie and are able to mail in your UPC cutout you should be okay. The only thing which may possibly ruin it for you would be if the receipt indicated used next to your title purchased. Anyone's guess really....

I noticed the movies I had already cut out the UPC and proof of purchase is on one spot. Now I noticed that Click has the upc on the top right and the proof of purchase at the bottom left. Do I need to cut both of these???
When they ask for the UPC, they are referring to the barcode... forget about the proof of purchase stub.

1 Coupon per Movie? Or all three per coupon?

1 coupon per movie. also, only one movie per coupon (if that makes sense)

the coupons have 3 movies from 1 studio on them. u get the rebate for one movie and thats it.

I am having a moral dilemma here or maybe it is just OCD...I cannot bring myself, for $10 that is, to cut out any portion, no matter how small, out of teh cover artwork of my blu ray discs. Why can't there be a tear off tab inside. I cannot do it!
What is the $20 buy.com coupon?

There used to be a $20 instant savings when using Google checkout. It's not offered anymore.
That was the best! I got two blu rays free from that!
I did pick up Underworld Evolution with the latest $10 incentive they have.
