I was browsing the web and found these from BG corporation these speakers utilize planar ribbon technology. I need to find a local store that I can audition these, however has anyone heard of the brand or heard these speakers before? I wonder how ribbon speakers compare to tradition speakers?

How do ribbon style tweeters sound compared to dome or horn tweeters?

I live in the Chicagoland area and there is a store called Sounds Deluxe that is about to start carrying BG. I am thinking of getting the in-ceilings for my home system. I was told they supply the drivers for Martin Logan and some other planar ribbon based speakers.

Yes, and while I don't have much of their stuff out on display, we LOVE using it in HT's where we have the need to get inwalls/onwalls with the right kind of sound (maybe a customer who has had electrostats or Planars before), and we are looking for the right dispersion characteristics, and otherwise great musicality.
One of the guys from Swan who comes around here sometimes used to work for them, maybe he'll chime in.

Unless they have radically changed, Martin Logans are all electrostatic speakers, not planar dynamics. BG does supply planar dynamic quasi-ribbons for Genesis, VMPS, and others. You can buy the BG planar drivers separately from Parts Express.

Brian,

Hasn't used any BG product for many years, although he is "now" friends with David Graebner.

I work at Sounds Deluxe in Naperville, IL. We just put a set of the inwall BG speakers up this weekend (R-500 R/L, R-320 C). We will have the onwall rears up pretty soon. The inwalls are amazing. I encourage you to listen to them if you haven't. There are 2 others stores, one in Clarendon Hills, and the other in Orland Park. I don't know what the other stores have on display, but I know we have the 2 mentioned on display with hopefully more to come.
