No, it goes thru at check out $50/free ship/no problems. Got one a couple of days ago and it's pretty cool to program online, takes some thought to decide about various components' functions but the software is user friendly so am confident I'll be able to get the commands perfected. Also picked up a Next Gen IR/RF extender as per other avs members (I think it was tiger) so life might be good!

You can get a free 550 at BB right now when you purchase a display for $999 or more on their referenced list.

I should have done that since I'm going to get a 550 anyway. I purchased the Samsung 46A650 LCD at a local BB and the remote free offer is only for online purchases. Ah well.

Tigerdirect has it for $49.99 + shipping (and plus tax in a few states). Amazon has it for $56.28 shipped. Just ordered mine

So I am having a couple problems with my 550 that I am hoping someone can help me out with.

1. For some reason it always defaults my A/V receiver to "Variety/Sports" at the very end. Even after I added in changing to "Movie", it goes to movie, and then at the end makes a final change to "Variety/Sports".

2. I have a TV and Projector in the living room to save on Projo bulb life, but half the time when i use the command for tv on my tv, it ALSO turns on the projector even though that command is not programmed in. Any ideas?

Other than these two things I love the remote, just a little frustrating.

Great remote so far! I wish I could set it up to some sort of IR->RF thing for my dish receiver downstairs that is set for the tv upstairs haha.

I had a similar problem w/ my stereo and tv. The wife sometimes would rather watch tv w/ out the surround sound...yeah go figure

So I called Logitech and they said just program it for the tv and cable to go on and no stereo. I had to rename it "quiet" tv. So maybe if you just programed the remote in a similar fashion, it might work.

Just pulled the trigger on Amazon for one of these bad boys, after looking it over at BB earlier on this afternoon. Seems like it should be a pretty good remote once I learn all that it can do. Should be a pretty good start. Hopefully it's updated enough for today's equipment, as opposed to the stuff from two years ago when this was launched. That will be a challenge...
