Westinghouse W3213 or 32W6?

I'd avoid both.

I know you might be basing this purchase on my recommendation, but I'm so close to returning this set myself. The lockups and general build quality are starting to irritate me, and I don't know if I can put up with it much longer, let alone for the 4-5 years I'll have the set.

If you HAVE to buy it, I would definitely recommend buying the 32W6 in store for easy returns if necessary. Everyone always states how the W3213 has a 'better' contrast ratio and response time, but I'd bet any amount of money that nobody would be able to tell the difference between the two. If anything, those states are just re-interpretations of the abilities of the same LCD tech used in both.

I imagine that if you play video games or are a big sports person you will be able to notice the response time a lot more, since i hear the 32w6 is prone to ghosting. I have the w3213 got it at BF and have not had a single problem since and no ghosting. I use it for my computer monitor, tv, and 360, so it is on all the time. I am in a college dorm so it was a great buy for me and do not regret it at all. hope this helps
