Yeah, I liked it, but the ending seemed a little off. I assume they're setting up a story arc with that though.

I like how they fun of those Bigfoot Discovery show people.

I thought this last ep is one of the worst SP's ever. Still, it's better than watching an episode of many other horrible shows, but still. This was "Pip" bad. "Quest for Ratings" bad. It just wasn't funny. I think the bigfoot stuff was the only time I had a chuckle.

Like you said, they can't knock it out of the park all the time. I can live with a stinker here or there because it makes the brilliant ones look that much better.

I agree that they can't hit a home run every time especially after 15 years. Unfortunately, they are hitting less homers these days.

On this episode, I agree that the only thing funny was the Bigfoot investigators. Like I said, when the guy said he would grab the gun for evidence instead of Cartman that was classic.

I laughed a bit for this episode. For me I'd say it was just average. Nothing could ever be as bad as the head lice episode. I would have rather watch a Lifetime show/movie with my wife then that episode.

Watch the Season 4 episode "Pip" (The completely unfunny retelling of "Great Expectations") and tell me if you think "Lice Capades" is worse than that. Lice Capades is not a favorite of mine either (I've only seen it twice when I've seen every other ep of SP 4-5 times at least), but it's not Pip bad (or I should say, it's not Pip unfunny.

Erection day is worse than Pip IMHO. I think I enjoyed Pip just a little bit because I had just read Great Expectations for senior year english.

I thought the bully episode made up for last week's disappointment.

A lot of ground was covered in this episode, and the incorporation of the "San Diego incident" was nicely done.

I thought it was pretty good. I liked how everyone ended up being a bully especially Butter's grandmother.

Do a search on Jason Russell, the director of the "Kony 2012" viral film.

The gospel-style song at the end was great.

Episode started off slow but it had some funny moments in the middle mainly dealing with the contents of Cartman's stomach. The ending had me laughing out loud. Loved the Heli-crapter, the 7-Turdy-7, and the Poo Choo Express.

Long story short, I liked it.

It was a shame to see Stan once again driven to jackin' it in San Diego.

I always seem to have the opposite reaction to people here. People think an episode's great and I think it's average, or vice-versa. I had one or two moments of laughing, mainly with Cartman's stomach. The live action stuff didn't work for me.

Sometimes South Park is not about laughing, it's about an appreciation of genius

The "live action" sequence seemed out of place. Did they simply run out of time to voice and animate the segment?

you think the live action scenes were easier for them to shoot? Casting, crew, equipment, etc....
You do realize how little time they spend making every normal episode, right?
Each episode is done in less than a week, the same week it airs. They start writing the script on Thursday... Sometimes they are still finishing up an episode a few hours before 10pm Wednesday when it has to be sent to the network.

the whole re-enactment thing was part of the joke.

I thought this was the best episode of the season so far. The live action did drag on, but the opening 10 minutes had me LOL.

I worked remotely and I needed to explain something to my manager over im, there was a lot of detail and I was fighting myself not to say "long story short".

That was a great episode.

It was a spoof of all of those survivor shows on discovery, and had reenactors of the characters from south park.

I thought it was a decent take on the current state of the NFL and one of its blowhard commentators. Am I being sarcastic? You'll never know.

Meanwhile, the body count from Randy's stupidity continues to grow.
