As an electrician I have to wonder how you guys go about wiring a small LCD mounted on the wall? Other than some type of surface mount conduit (Wiremold for example) how else do you hide the wires?
My main concern is smaller LCDs, I am looking to mount one on the kitchen wall with a low profile mount (since you will see it from the side). This TV has one of those power bricks. It would be against code for me to run that wire coming out of the power brick thru the wall (even tho it's low voltage, it's still not rated for in wall use).
What I would typically do with a plasma is install a clock receptacle on the wall behind it this way I could plug right into it behind the unit, code compliant. But the power brick of a small 17" TV with a low profile mount is tricking me.
Advice?
