I have been reading through this tread for a while now and I am pretty confident I will be purchasing some Aperion speakers here in the near future. I do have a couple questions...
This is a basic drawing of how my home theater is currently set up.
Right now I have a 3.1 setup with a lot of old equipment. I am looking to go 5.1. Currently my setup is as follows..
2 Yamaha front towers that I have had for about 10 years
1 JBL 15" subwoofer PSW-D115 350-Watt
1 Bose Center Channel Speaker
1 Sony 60" LED LCD TV
1 HTIB Yamaha Receiver
1 Xbox One
I am open for all options and I have about $1500 to spend right off the bat (will be able to spend more in the near future). Since I am missing my surround speakers I am going to start with those. I am thinking about getting all Aperion Verus Forte speakers. I will probably then upgrade my center channel and then the towers. Once all the speakers are to my liking I am going to concentrate on getting a new AVR. I would love to get the Verus Grand series but the towers are rather expensive and with the bass that my 15" subwoofer puts out, I don't think I am going to miss the extra size and bass output of the grand towers.
Does this sound like a good plan? I mainly watch concert blu-rays, watch tv, and play xbox on the system. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
