Newb question about antenna

Hi all, I have a question about HDTV antenna. I have DirecTV running through my house, with the HD package. Can I split off of that line (it is already in the wall leading to the TV) an plug my HD antenna into it in the attic. So, I would have one line with the antenna, another line coming from the satellite dish, converging into one that leads to the TV. Will that work?

All you need is a pair of diplexers.

Unless you are running the new 5 LNB dish and H20 or HR20 receiver, diplexors can't be used with that equipment, your only option is to run another feed for the antenna.

Found out they can...the diplexers have to be after the BBC unit. I chose to run the extra line though, to avoid future problems.
Thanks!
