I am Icelandic born and raised, my house in the outskirts of Reykjavik, the neigberhood is still being built so it will look a bit more suburban in a couple of years, but I will still have the view out from my balcany wich is great on a cleer day. The huge hanger you see is a giant indoor soccer field and sportscenter and the small buildings on the side of the hangar are stables, but they will be removed soon. About Spongebob he hasn´t seen that much of him but he loves a show called Dora the explorer if you know that one.

My humble arrangement. Samsung 50in 720p DLP. Several year old Onkyo HT-R500: 5.1 100w per channel; 120w powered sub (i think). Old Panny SD DVD RV-31; XBox 360 Elite with HD-DVD drive.

Don't mind all the cables around the Xbox, it's leaving tonight I believe. Just got the HD DVD drive for Christmas, tried to return it but it was purchased to far in advance. Found a buyer for the Elite, HD, 6 HD movies and several games on Craigslist. Putting that, and the $50 gift card BB is sending out towards a Blu Ray (well, i'll some extra probably) whenever the new ones come out. Might buy a discounted 1.1, not sure I care about the extra features on the 2.0...have more reading to do though.

I have the krix Neuphonics also and a centrix center speakers one down from your one im thinking of getting a Epicentrix how does your one sound. also great setup

i also just got done building the 8' tv stand.

Modular stands are from IKEA. New suede sectional sofa is from Big Lots furniture. I store HD's/BD's and all my games in the bottom drawers. LCD lights are hard to see but mounted behind the frosted glass doors and in the bottom section where the cases for whatever movie is playing is being displayed.

Is your IKEA stuff from the Besta series? If it is I think you bought the exact setup from them that I'm going to get next month. If I have the room I might get the double bookcases for a little extra storage/display area. Great looking setup either way.

How should I seat this room for 8 people? I have a large sectional which might take up too much room.

I see you have Scene-it for your Xbox. I'm not a gamer but I do have that game and LOVE it. Hope to see some content add-ons soon on Xbox Live.

small cases tend to have bad performance (not enough air flow, or everything thrown in together), and good small HTPC's are expensive just because smaller parts are always more money..gr

Yeah I use it mostly to check out websites from my couch. Sometimes I use it to watch episodes of TV shows online. I can also stream music and pictures from my other PC's in the house and listen to my Sirius online through my Polks which is cool. It's not a very beefy machine, but does the job I need it to do. Most people that come over think it's pretty slick, but it wouldn't impress the average AVS member :P

I find that "big" HTPC cases are better looking. Those about the size of a receiver or an amp just looks like another nice piece of equipment. Some have a small display, a DVD tray and a volume knob. Needs to be simple.

Sorry guys... I'm not into modding my pc case with neons. Sleek look is still the winner.
