i can't go through walls, its a rental and the lcd was mounted and prewired before hand
so i had to mount the center like that and could not run the wire through the wall

Here's my setup... Just mounted the TV last evening. Still working on purchasing a few items to help balance the room.

Nice to see someone else that shares there room with the kids toys.

Yea - my 3 year old daughters toys. After all, Sponge Bob looks grand on the flat pannel so she has her toys and "Her" (as she informs me) tv to watch Bob Bob........ (sponge bob)

Here's my budget setup. It's really not much, but it's my first home theater, and I have to keep my wife, the interior designer, happy.

I spent the whole day today re-organizing my games and movies. I plan to move soon, so I am looking and researching at a nice 5.1 system to add on to my HD setup!

Just took a couple pics. Pics didn't turn out good.

chipvideo - very impressive setup - there's some very nice gear in your rack

lrstevens - for the money the yammy 1500 sub performs well. I can get some impressive dB out of it, and it fills my small room (14' x 15') with mostly clean, distortion free bass. At very high volumes you do hear some port chuffing, though. And while it can produce reasonably tight bass, i'd say it was a 'movie' sub first, and a 'music' sub second. But that suits me because I watch more movies than listen to music. It is a large unit, but from an aesthetic point of view it looks great, and it is very well made (especially compared to Yamaha's other subwoofers). For the money i think you'd be hard-pressed to find something that performs as well, especially for movies. It has been around for a while now too, so if youre looking to buy one you should be able to get a good deal.
