Thanks in advance....

Amazon is my pick. I know alot of people on here have issues with them but I have always gotten my stuff with the %10 discount and free two day shipping without a single hitch.

Amazon

Amazon

Get three in your basket, and you get 10% off that order and 10% off any HD-DVD order for one year.

And if you are really looking to add to your collection, or do a lot of shopping there, get Prime and get 2 Day shipping for free.

I have been using Amazon for years (both .com and .co.uk) and lately their international service has been lacklustre. Parcels taking up to 6 weeks to arrive (over the usual 2). I went with DVDPacific for my 2nd HD-DVD movie order, and I will be sticking with them. Great service (a real person emails you back!) and quick, prompt shipping. Even with Amazon's 10% next gen discount applied DVDPacific are cheaper.

DVDPlanet just because of Google Checkout. They have a great selection too.

We've had many discussions on this topic that would come up in a search.

Here's the same exact question here:

Thanks for all the replies. Rboster, I try to use the search when possible, but when I posted this last night, the search kept timing out. Not sure if the server was overloaded or they were having circuit issues.

Don't worry, I am glad you brought this topic up again!
The search feature is flawed.
Nothing wrong with asking again.
This forum is filled with duplicate posts.

Used to be Buy.com w/ googlecheckout but now its over, its back to Amazon and 10% off

Amazon and www.Deepdiscountdvd.com . Deep has 20%off sales a few times a year and free shipping ....

Have good dealing with amazon , you can talk to a real person if you need too...
I had a problem with the Collectors edition Forbidden planet. somehow the forbidden planet dvd in the set has an sd dvd instead of hd-dvd ...return was easy ...

will look at pacific also ...
Good post
I dont like the search function as you get a lot of other topics , But do try it first resort !!

Back to Amazon.

I miss the Buy.com / Google Checkout deal already

I use to use DeepDiscount DVD but for HD DVD and BD they have a terrible selection and they rarely have anything listed ahead of time for pre order.
I've been using Amazon, but I find their selection small when i search HD-DVD. Maybe they just aren't all listed correctly?

DeepDiscount is a wonderful site but I've had some issues with getting movies very late. I also think they need to streamline their website.....searching genres by letter irks me.

Amazon.

10% off plus 2-day shipping rocks.

Amazon Prime + 10%
So is the 10% still going on at Amazon for those that haven't started it yet? A few days back I looked up Serenity and the promotion was clearly listed on the page. I went back today to make the purchase and that promotion was replaced with another one to get a free TV show download instead. I added Serenity, V, and Pitch Black (all HD DVD obviously) to my cart and went to the last step before placing my order and there was still no 10% off reflected in my price.

AMAZON.COM
I have been ordering from them in 5 years and it has been great. Once you are a customer and have bought from them, you can still use your account in the other Amazon web sites from another countries like Canada and France, UK, Germany or Japan. You do not even need to enter you personal data again. Your user name and password should be enough in any of the other front ends.
They have been great all the time with their free S&H in orders for more than $25 and also no mistakes in hundreds of orders I have made. They also have a great selection of movies from 3rd party market sellers.
For preorders, I like DVDEmpire. Not the lowest prices. But I like their web interface making it super easy with a click to cancel, add, modify orders. If you group a number of items for an order, and a preorder, but it gets delayed/change of date? You can delete the preorder. The resst ships or Combine it with something else or another order. Very easy.

oh forgot ship complete or partial orders. 3 items qualify for free standard shipping.

I like the idea, what does one have to do to make that happen?
(and I say another post saying 10% off for the rest of the year)

Am I missing something? or is this related to the Amazon Prime deal?

Oh I meant AMAZON PRIME BABY!
Is the 10% off deal still going on? I wanted to wait to see what I got for Christmas before ordering.
