Downloaded PS1 and PS2 gamesaves on PS3?

I downloaded a few classic PS1 and ps2 completed gamesaves (soul blade and castlevania lament of innocence) on gamefaqs to use on the ps3. I saved these files onto an sd card and also a usb memory stick however the ps3 does not recognize these as proper save files.

Does anyone know a site where I can get ps3 compatible game saves for ps1 and ps2 games or if there's a program out there that will convert those gamesaves so that the ps3 will be able to read them?

anyone?

If you read gamefaqs, these are action replay saves, not PS saves, so they won't work.

True PS saves can be transfered by a USB drive, ect. I haven't seen a place yet that offers these online.

I tried this also, those files don't work and I havn't found a way to conver them yet. I tried to start a pole on gamefaqs to add ps1 and 2 game saves compatible with the ps3, but I am a newbie there so it would only let me start one thread per 24hr. I guess I can try again today, this would be a good addition to the site. I was directed to a thread at gtplanet in the ps3 forums that had a handfull of saves, maybe 4 or five.

I successfully transferred all of my game saves from my PS2 to my PS3. No problems.
