Calibrating contrast on vga. Help!

Can anyone explain how to calibrate contrast with avia on vga for the 360?

The same as any other input on your display. If your display doesn't allow adjustment on the VGA input, you're out of luck because the 360 doesn't offer any image setting options.

Are you having contrast issues with games and dash or video/dvd/mce extender? If the latter, then you will probably not find an acceptable answer. IMO there are issues with it. However for games, I find the VGA excellent.

I have the samsung lcd. How would I set it for games? Should I even be using avia?
When I use the needle pulse test for contrast, the two lines will not dissapear.

If I should'nt be using avia, what should I use? How would I calibrate contrast with it?

There are a few games with simple tests built in to the video settings in their respective menu's. They're usually just a color bar reference with contrast/brightness bars at the bottom.

Fairly certain that both the demo version of NBA Live and Project Gotham have these.

I downloaded NBA Live 06 from XBL but what do I adjust to have perfect contrast/brightness?
