Star Wars: The Clone Wars - 20 screenshots / computer image capture (link to full-res index)

I was kinda surprised that I really dug the unique visual style and art direction in this movie - hooray for zero expectations!

I can't watch that movie it looks like a bad video game.

They should have done the new star wars film with Lego People at least it would have been more entertaining.

Whats wierd, is the series is pretty awesome. The visuals look good on the series, I think they actually look better then the movie. Dont know why but The Series is pretty good.

I purchased this disc to watch as a family with our son, and fell asleep a quarter of the way through. What kept waking me up, was the decent soundtrack/LFE.

I'm not really sure that I can leap to the defense of The Clone Wars as a film with any honesty, but it was certainly better than I expected both in story and visuals. As a glorified children's television pilot that was mysteriously given a theatrical release, I think it was a solid success and certainly worth renting if you are even mildly curious, but obviously it carries a lot of baggage from the Star Wars name and has been drawing very mixed opinions.

My thoughts were different when I saw those Star War screenshots. All I could think was how can they mess up Dark Knight and give this one excellent PQ!

Did you really think that?

Comparing animated/CGI based movies to film based movies makes little sense.

thanks!

well, dont let the camera set itself up for the shot, do it yourself.
take some testshots to se that what you see in shadow detail is visible on the photo. use a tripod or something to support the camera so that you get sharp pictures.
if the picture is to bright it will look soft so get exposure right for every shot.
