Screenshots cannot be judged properly since every camera setting is different, how the picture is taken is different, how the TVs have been calibrated.

It's likely that the XBR3 looks as good or round-about there, as well! It's just the screenshot that degrades the picture.

guys, what camera settings do u use for taking pics ? I tried different settings on my panasonic FZ5 and pics came out HORRIBLE.

I use a Canon XTi with a 17-85mm Lens. The lighting in my apartment is terrible, so I got that special light for behind my TV, at the time I didn't really have my tripod so taking pictures in complete darkness (or near it) was impossible because id have to keep it impossibly still.

Anyway, my TV is ISF Calibrated and I never judge a movie by a screen shot because there are so many things to consider, its just not true to the actual image being seen on your screen at the time.

The SXRD (especially when calibrated) has a lot of amazing potential for looking spectacular.

My camera is not good but here it goes. Open Season with high Colors setting for some "POP"on my optoma HD70.

I just recalibrated my Mits3000U using ColorHcfr and ColorHCFR probe..and my calibration still came out incredible, just a touch here and there from my Oppo971 (for sale now)...Apocalypto needs to be posted here as a screen shot...I wish I had a camera..soon though..

God wonderfull pictures. Man thats the best pictures of HD on a Sony LCD I have seen. God does Black Hawk down looks that sharp on a Pioneer PDP as well. Makes me wonder if I should not better take a 1080p LCD.
