H100 has a good reputation on this board. Supposedly its designed and enginered by Dr. Hsu of Hsu research (who, I've heard, makes very good subs)

The other model has no reputation at all.

2 totally different classes of subwoofers go with the H-100 wihout a second thought.

Are you planning on spending $600 on the v1520? If so, there are subs out there that offer much more value.

The 2 models are the same company ( Bic America) . I just bought the BIC V1520 15" 275 Watt Powered Subwoofer on E-Bay delivered for $242.79 , not for $600.00. The relatively new design ( to this company ) is supposed to be similar to Klipsch . There is a good review from March 2004 in "Audiophile Audition"web magazine.
