Crank out some movies or HD DVD will be a conversation that starts something like "Hey! Do you remember Divx?".
January , esp towards the end of the month (as the start has alot of spill over from the holidays) is a dead month for retail . Actually from january through march are pretty dead months .
They wont be releasing Lord of the rings in thsi time frame. perhaps the announcment but not the actual products on shelves . They should have a steady flow of releases and right as the end of march and april comes they should open up the flood gates of releases .
Aside from that there are now enough titles where people coming into the new format ( the majority of us ) that bought hd-dvd add ons and second gen players , have dozens of movies to buy. I have a list of 26 released hd-dvds I want to own and only own 13 of them at this point . So if i'm itching for a movie I can allways pick up an older title . I know some of you have been supporting for a much longer time and most likely have everything worth buying . But for anyone who bought a player this fall and through this winter will have a hundred + titles to shift through
