Any way to have a index of favorite subforums?

As a new user here, there are only about 2-3 forums that apply to me, and which I'm interested in at this time...so I was wondering...is there any way on this software to create a personalized list of sub-forums?
On the DSLReports forums, I can create a "My Forums" group that just lists those that I care about...sort of a quick index....yes, I could do so via making numerous entries in my IE Fav's but would prefer something on forum...
This is more of a problem with forums like this that have SO specialized areas...as some sub-forums will never apply to me, due to budget and my interests/usage.

Maybe I'm just having an early senior moment, but I only see the ability to subcribe to a THREAD (which I've done for those that I've posted to) but not to subscribe to those Forums... BTW, other forums I'm on have this same software base, and same issue applies to them...I think DSLreports has some customized s/w for that function..

and then had thought it'd show up when viewing http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/subscription.php? as separate group at left, but see it's handled differently...
