Need some installation advice to prevent a drop ceiling from buzzing and rattling

Hey folks,

Getting down to the end stages of my basement HT build and I'm installing a drop ceiling in a 12' X 26' room. After reveiwing some past threads I've read that buzzing and rattling may be a problem. My questions are:

Is the problem with the tiles rattling on the frame or the frame itself?

Can this issue be prevented by selecting a heavier acoustic tile? Will the mass be enough to prevent this issue?

Is it necessary to tie or bind all the hardware to create a solid frame?

Does adding a layer of insulation above the tiles solve this problem?

AV Doggie, thank you for the feedback. I agree that the intersection points seem to be the weakest link regarding this problem. Some follow-up questions:

Why would it be a problem to bind the intersections tightly with wire? I thought as long as there was enough space above the grid the tiles could be removed without changing the hardware.

As for the electrical tape suggestion, do you mean to use the tape to prevent metal-to-metal contact or somehow use the tape to hold the hardware together?

This is my first drop ceiling installation so please forgive the rather basic questions. I'm trying to get as much as I can right the first time.
