Don't know if this has been posted, but there is currently a great deal on the A-2 through Electronics Expo on Amazon.com

Just took the plunge myself on that deal yesterday! I live in NJ, but unfortunately they wont honor the same price at the local Expo store. And even their own website has it for more money (!). Beats the hell out of getting it at Best Buy.

Yeah. It's the best deal I have seen. Even beats all the current ebay offerings. When you get it, let us know how the experience went with them.

Robert, OT but truehd sound is available through the xa2 via analog correct? (I don't have a hdmi received) FYI, 24.00 and some change(no tax) on shipping of the x2 from expo (just checked waiting on the xa2 myself

^ Yes TrueHD audio is available on the XA2 through it's 5.1 analog audio outputs and the HDMI 1.3 port.

RWetmore and mortgagepanic, you got a good deal on your A2.

I recently purchased the Toshiba HD-A2 from Robert at Value Electronics. While it has not yet arrived, I must say that I am already absolutely convinced that I made a great decision to buy from him. While it may have cost a few pennies more than other online retailers, I have already pestered Robert with numerous emails to which he has always replied immediately and with good cheer and expertise. Sometimes it makes more sense to spend a little extra to get someone you can count on to be there for guidance and support.

Thank you ref59405, if you don't have to pay with sales tax at Expo the difference is about $16.

I didn't check out delivery time and extended warranties, so their may be other differences when you complete the order.

Shipping is $19.00

THere is no tax unless you live in New Jersey.

I couldn't agree more. I haven't e-mailed or PM'd Robert, but I know if I did that I would get a quick, thorough, and honest response. Service counts. That's why I also purchased an A2 (will arrive on Wednesday!) from VE. Keep up the great service Robert and VE!!
