For anyone in vancouver that is interested "Charlie's" on Granville and Robson now carries HD DVDs, and you can trade ones in you dont want anymore and buy used ones. I bought T3 used for $15 CDN. Average price for new HD DVD is on par with major retaillers I have seen.

You read my mind! I actually traded a couple HD DVDs already and got a decent value for them too! I was going to post this for other Vancouver area HD DVD collectors, but you beat me to it. They do have some decent prices on new and used HD DVDs for sure.

I remember when I went in there to sell/trade two of my HD DVDs. At the time they were already selling new HD DVDs, but the guy looks at me with wide eyes saying "wow, you are our first customer to begin trading HD DVDs", kind of felt a little "special" at the time.

Very cool. Charlie is a nice guy. I was talking about it with him and he said slowly he is getting more and more interest with HD DVD.

keep your eyes open for used copies of:

American Werewolf
Dear Hunter
Polar Express
Land of the Dead
Grinch

they wil be my first to trade in.

Cool! I traded in "Excalibur" and an additional copy of "Four Brothers". Since I review DVDs and HD DVDs for a California based website, if they send me something that I really don't want to keep after I review it or if I get a double of something that I already own (provided they are not "screener" or numbered copies), I will simply trade up to something I do want to have grace my HD DVD collection.

Not that I'm aware of. I did a quick google search and got nothing.
