I did this on my Tosi 32 and was barely able to "launder" the job to get it to DVD:
I recorded the Steelers Superbowl and marked each individual play starting with the QB audibles to the whistle blow.
This resulted in just under 100 marks per quarter.
I then playlisted what I wanted resulting in about 48 chapters per quarter.
I then combined chapters into possessions resulting in maybe 12 chapters per quarter. (I started a possession chapter with the final play that caused the team to score or have to punt, so if you previewed the chapters, you would immediately see the fruit of each possession.)
When I tried to burn this monster, the machine started the burn process and then locked before it hit 1% complete.
To get this out of the machine I had to do a rate conversion dub and reinsert the posession marks.
The result is about 8.5 minutes of football per quarter - blink your eyes and you miss a play!
Now, you should see the sparks fly when I try to play this DVD on another player.
