Is the power brick special?

The other day I was packing up my 360 and I noticed that after I unplugged the power cable from the outlet the little orange light on that big "brick" portion continued to glow. Is the powerbrick like a surge suppressor/battery back-up or what? I guess I was just curious- I searched but found no immediate results so I thought I'd ask.

It probably has a capacitor that takes a while to fully discharge.

It is like the flux compasitor in Back to the Future, only very different. Put it in your backseat and hit 88 in your car. If you are lucky, you may be transported to Afghanistan

O/T but it fits.

EBGames are selling Joytech power bricks for the 360 now...No price was listed but I found it laying on the floor and the back of the package reads something along the lines of "Just like doing laundry and losing a sock in the dryer, you may never know when you will lose it"
