I haven't seen them anywhere online. I picked mine up at Wal-Mart, but I have also seen them at EB Games.

Purchased mine last week from Gamestop. This week I have seen the remote at both EB games and Target.

I see them in gs/eb all the time. i bought one and it's much better than using the controller.

Bought one yesterday at Circuit City-they had plenty of them

I got mine at EB Games last night. They are out there.

They were released a couple weeks ago. I found one at EB Games a few days before Christmas.

They're out; picked one up a lil' while back :

I got mine two weeks ago from Gamestop. Definitely worth the $25 since I'm using the PS3 for BD playback 99% of the time.

Picked mine up at Gamestop. Beware, this thing is ugly and I get pissed each time I have to grab it to watch a DVD or BD and use my Harmony for volume and input switching.

It does pass the WAF test and the controller for disc playback did not.

I bought one yesterday from Gamestop after trying to find one at Wal-Mart.

I saw a few in Wal-Mart today in Des Moines. I ended up buying the BD version of Kung Fu Hustle instead though.
I wanted to hold out for awhile in hopes that Logitech would release a remote with BT in it, but I have a feeling that I may pick one up in the next week or so.

I am holding out with the same hopes as well. Even if it is expected to be more money, it would be worth it, IMO.

Never having to point the remote at the screen, hold it way up in the damn air, or worry about a door or cabinet face being in the way of your remote signal = PRICELESS.

Oy, why couldn't they have put a power button on it, or even one of the "ps" buttons like the controller has?

Oops, nevermind about the ps button-it was hiding from me.

are you blind?

There is a PS button and actually any button on the remote will fire up the PS3... kinda annoying IMHO. I need to put the remote out of the coffee table where it can accidentally get hit and turn on my ps3.

Kind of pointless, but out of curiousity: Can you use the remote as a controller for games? It seems to have all the same buttons.
It would work with a game that only uses the digital pad. No analog sticks on teh remote. The PS2 remotes were the same way. Though I can't think of anything you would want to play that way. If they put sixaxis control in the remote, you'd have a Wii-imitation though.

I wouldn't expect it to be a dime less then $150 for a bare bones version. But it will have both BT and IR transmitters. I'm just looking to keep the coffee table free from extra remotes.
