No, I think you will enjoy the movie tremendously, but I spent just a little more for the Mission Impossible trilogy so I can't bring myseld to pay that kind of cash for any flick

Love that movie, but with shipping atc, I can;t swallow nearly $60CDN for 1 movie

Watched it tonight with company. Very good transfer. One of the best AVC encodes I have seen. Sound was overall excellent too. To top it off it's a pretty good film. $40 well spent as I will definitely be getting some re-watch time with this one. Xploitedcinema is very good with e-mails and service. Very pleased...first Harry Potter and now Equilibrium. Hurray for region free coding!!

I should be receiving this hopefully tomorrow, or maybe monday, along with Reign of Fire. Very much looking forward to both titles. The high price just makes it all the more fun. Adds an illicit quality to the transaction, like I'm partaking in black market goods or something. And of course it's not to difficult to get back most of your money if you go to sell a Japanese import. So at most in the end it'll just be a rental that cost me ~$5 or so. All good in my eyes.

What exactly is the story for this movie?

To me, it is a mix of Fahrenheit 451 and 1984, with some great action scenes.

Yes! I received both of them today. Can't wait to pop them in and check them out.

Both look really good encoded in mpeg-4 AVC with Dolby Plus 5.1 english and Jap audio and subtitles. Theres the usual film grain but nothing we havn't noticed on pretty much any other HD release. No other issues to report on picture quality so theres a definite thumbs up for both. Price is steep but I love my HD-DVD so I went for it. Bring on Underworld Evolution next from DVDGO.com when it's released later this year.

I received Equilibrium "Rebellion" and "The Brothers Grimm" from Amazon Japan and they took less than a week to arrive. If any of you have your doubts about these imports..DON'T. They look and sound terrific. You just need to maneuver a little blindly in the set-up windows to play back in English 5.1 without subtitles. The images had that crisp "pop" and the sound is awesome. I just wish the cases were the same as the US and European releases. I guess I will download the alternate art.
