I would not recommend this sub. It performed modestly well, and before mine died I would have recommended it as a great entry level, lowest budget sub. Not bad for a small apartment with neighbors. However, I have had it just over two years and a couple days ago it just stopped working.
It will not power up. I have read online that other users have experienced this as well. It is a great value sub but I am a little upset that a I feel like I just bought the dam thing and here I am shopping for another one. I will also say that this sub distorts quite a bit at higher volumes as well. After owning this sub, I can tell you that when I listen to more expensive subs I can DEFINITELY hear a huge difference. This sub can't hit those lows that your ears long for. Do yourself a favor and save up for a $400+ sub. That will be my next purchase to replace this 25 pound paperweight.
