Samsung & Best Buy warranty questions

Thread Starter
I have a few questions to ask about these EW.

If you do not know answers to all the questions, feel free to answer the ones you know the answer to.

Thanks in advance.

1) Who is Repairmaster?

2) Does Samsung offer a EW because I was only offered one by Best Buy?

3) Does anyone know if after 1 yr. when my Samsung Warranty runs out, if Best Buy offers the EW again?

I know from the past that when i have been offered EW later after not taking it out at purchase they were a lot more money.

4)Does anyone know if that is how it is with BestBuy?

One last question.

5) Does anyone know if Best Buy's EW for both parts and labor, if it is worth it, and will it cover the Light Engine replacement?

The thread is not duplicate the post is.

It was in another thread that moved to page 2, and I did not get any help so I started a thread for it on it's own.

I didn't know how you guys felt about bumping my post in that other thread to the top of page one.

Bumping is poor netiquette, but I think starting another post is worse.

1) Repairmaster is a third party warrenty seller.
2) As far as I know you can buy an Ew from Samsung regradless of being offered one by Best Buy. An EW should be available either way.
3) Again, as far as I know, you can buy the Best Buy warrenty up until 30 days have passed since your purchase. (It was this way for Circiut City when I bought my set)
4) Don't know
5) See BillP's response to your original post for a very informative and well written response.

adavis720, I am a mod in 2 forums and I have no problem with someone bumping if the info that are looking for has not been given. Besides that this forum does not offer a delete button on their post options.

I do appreciate you giving me all the help you could with my questions. Thanks
