Which Oppo DVD player has THE BEST overall performance?

I am in the market for a new DVD player. I currently have an old Sony DVP S330 (which came out in the very very late 1990s... 99?) and it works fine but it seems like i'm lacking something. I am getting everything ready for a nice set up (I already have a decent AVR which is a Technics SA-DA8 that supports DVD-Audio input) which consist of **********'s Onix X-series 5.1 speakers which will most likely consist of the floorstand speakers that will come out later this month. The TV will most likely be a Westinghouse LVM-42w2.

So lets get to the point of this thread! I am looking for a DVD player in the 150-250 dollar price range. I will need good video output quality and most importantly, good audio output (I'm not blowing money on the speakers and cables for nothing). Seems like the Oppo DVD players fits my needs but there seems to be a lack of quality audio output? Should i just buy an Oppo and blow more money (which i absolutely do not want to do) Sony SCD-CE595 CD/SACD player instead?

To be honest, i'm going to need help on that too. I guess which ever input is best on the Westinghouse TV and which ever is best for the source component.

Can anyone compare the audio quality between the Oppo and the Sony SCD-CE595? Or at least have some input and give me some info on how good the audio quality of the Oppo is?

Yeah i know that. I've search on google for reviews of the Different Oppo players and none of them shows how they stack up against other equipment (that i have experience with). I guess the video quality is taken care of but i still need some answers for the audio quality against maybe a Sony SCD-CE595 when it comes to CDs, DVD-A, SACD, etc.

I'm just going to get a 595 as a CD player....

I still have time to choose though...
