Wow....hideous. My diNovo edge is much prettier.

Ya, DiNovo Edge much prettier, but if anyone can confirm that this keyboard will have added functionality (eg. to emulate the PS3 buttons, like Start button, L1, L2 etc) then I am going to return my DiNovo Edge and wait for this one to come out.

Does anyone know if this is any different than a standard 2.4Ghz wireless keyboard? Or is Logitech just trying to cash in on this opportunity?

...too bad it is not rechargable...and likely uses the usb dongle which they didn't mention. No bluetooth!

what an excellent job they did of matching it to the console.

It's basically just like any other 2.4GHz wireless keyboard except with less features.

Kenchi....

I may have missed it, but this keyboard doesn't emulate those buttons either.

This would have helped out a lot when setting the ps3 up for the first time.

But the price seems a little high for a wireless keyboard with touch pad. And it is ugly. Looks like something from the 90's. I dont see much use for a keyboard for the ps3 either. I think they are trying to cash in on the ps3.

I dont really see anything special on this keyboard to be a PS3 dedicated keyboard. It doesn't emulate the PS3 buttons and it doesn't even use the PS3's Bluetooth.

To me is just another wireless keyboard with built in mouse.

i'm glad they came out with a cheaper keyboard, but damn is it fugly compared to the Edge.

I'll wait for a BT one so I don't have to use those USB dongle antenna things. Plus the color is funky and the layout is archaic.

Kid Red...

It is BT, and you still have to use a dongle.

You can correct me if I am wrong, but I thought 2.4 ghz was RF wireless, and not Bluetooth. ???

Yea, as Kenchi pointed out, if it was BT I think they'd say that. All they say is 2.4ghz which I think is RF and what most of their wireless (my mouse) devices use.

Seems like I've seen that before...

Oh yah:

I guess I figured that if it would be for the PS3, they would've done it up with BT because that's what the PS3 is all about. Instead, this is just a ho-hum wireless keyboard that looks ugly to boot.

*hugs diNovo edge*

/bump
I know this is an old thread but with today's update I am searching for a BT keyboard for my PS3.

My first question is WTF was Logitech thinking when they made this? No BT and its ugly. The only positive thing I can think of is its thin.

So, can anyone recommend a BT keyboard that looks good and doesn't cost $200?

I want the Logitech Edge, but I'll wait until someone reports that it works well with the PS3. I want one that uses bluetooth without the need for a dongle hanging off the front of my console. Can somebody that has one, give us a review on it?

I have the Edge keyboard. As of yesterdays update, I no longer need the dongle. It works perfectly. Battery last forever.

Wow, that Edge keyboard looks nice, but $$$. I think I'll wait for a PS3 specific KB/Mouse that has some of the buttons the controller does.
