Sim2 C3X 1080p Coming Soon.

The 3000 boasts the 1080 1 chip in the same C3X case ( looks like the C3X )but it does not require the same folded light path of the 3 chip. The first gen 1080 3 chip design manufactures are using the delta light engine which has size restraints because of the larger chip size keeping from being put in the smaller chassie. Next gen 1080 chip will be smaller and you should see a C3X 3 chip 1080 in the future. First gen with the larger chip will maintain some advantages.

I went to a show in October and the sim2 reps said they had no idea when a 1080p C3X was going to released because TI hadn't signed an agreement with anyone. I went to another show in December, asked the same question and they said there would be a 1080p C3X by the end of 2007. CES seems a little early to be showing one but if they do then it will have been the best kept pre-CES secret so far.
As far as improvements go, the HT3000 was quite a jump up in quality from HT300E so I expect we will see a similar jump with the follow up to the C3X. I never got to see the delta engine 3 chip HT500, can anyone give an indication of how much of jump in quality the C3X was from that?
I hope this doesn't turn out to be another LED projector
