Da-lite Model C (high power) wall installation

For a Dal-lite Model C high power wall installation does anyone know if the end caps for the fasteners are adjustable?

By adjustable I mean do they slide along the frame so you can fasten them to where you have a stud in the wall?

I have a wall that's about 103" wide and the screen is 99" with the frame, but the studs are 16" in and wanted to find out if this is doable. It's not recommended to install the screen to just drywall.

Thanks for the help. Can't really tell from the install instructions online from Da-lite.

Found out there is just the eyelet.

You can just put a piece of 1"x 4" on the wall (screwed to studs) and use heavy duty picture frame hooks exactly where needed to hang the Model C. Most likly the eyelets on the screen are not going to line up with your studs.......

That's an option or I get the Model B as I had planned.
Thanks for the ideas.

Romanesq,

I put eye bolts into the nearest studs and used "S" hooks to span the space. I would guess I was 6 inches inside the studs on both sides.

I painted some 4"x4" pine plaques that I got from an arts and crafts store. They were already routed along all 4 edges and look a little better than just drilling a hook into the wall stud. They also acted as a spacer to get the hook a little further from the wall. Note: This was to mount a Model C (matte white).
