Mirage BPS-100 - good sub?

I've found a used Mirage BPS-100 for $90... is this a good deal? I'm on a tight budget for my sub and would like to get the most for my money. I've looked at Dayton's and Velodyne VX-10s and then this deal just came up. It's an older sub, the guy claims only 6 years old, but I know it was fairly nice when it came out, does anyone have any more info on it? Would this be better than any new sub I can get in the 100-200 dollar range?

I've also found a Athena AS-P4000 for about $110-$120 the guy says its only 4-5 months old. Would this be my best option? Better than the Mirage?

Also, when I look at it what things should I look for in regards to seeing if its in good shape?
Thanks.

Anyone???

I just found another used sub to throw into the mix... a BIC Cinema 1 C-10 for $100.

Anyone have any suggestions on which sub to choose?
