1292 converged until source is on

This happened before and I don't remember the solution. I have set up my 1292 darn near perfect, then when I hook the source up (input) every color is off, way off, about 3 inches off. Anyone here remind me how to fix this? It looks like Ray Charles converged it. Go back to the "no input" test patterns, all is well, back to the blu ray...... more psychedelic red green and blue ghosts

The "no input convergence" is a base for all the memory blocks in the PJ(usually 34khz internal oscillation-memory block 4). Go to a no input condition and check a test pattern to make sure its on. Hold the memory key for 5-10 seconds until it asks if you want to save for all inputs. Push up for OK. Switch to your desired input, and the convergence should be better, but not on. Reconverge with the input connected and selected, source ON. Press memory quickly to save just that memory block. You will have to do this for most different resolutions(1080i,720p,1080p,etc.) as the PJ saves each different frequency(resolution) to its own memory block.
