My ATI HDTV Wonder is Possessed!!!

I've had bad luck with scheduled recordings using MMC and the ATI HDTV Wonder card. Everytime I have a program recording scheduled for a given time, the software records the wrong channel during that time. Usually, it seems to default to TBN even though the file name of the recording is for the correct channel that should have recorded. Instead I get an hour of TBN In an attempt to resolve the issue, I have tried to remove TBN and all of its subchannels from the channel lineup. Yet, they reappear as quickly as I remove them. The only way to successfully remove them is by unplugging the antenna as I am removing them. But then they just reappear after a scheduled recording. I do not care about having any of the TBN channels and I have tried to block them using the parental controls but that doesn't solve the recording problem.

The only way that I can successfully record a program is to open MMC to the correct channel prior to recording. This obviously doesn't work when I am not at home. I am a student taking night classes so it would be nice to record multiple channels.

I have updated to MMC 9.16 and my system exceeds the minimum requirements (AMD 3200, 1 GB RAM, Radeon 9600).

Has anyone else expericened this or could this be a sign from God

Any help is appreciated

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try WatchHDTV and it works well. But, I bought a MyHD MDP-130 and it works perfectly and uses fewer resources.
