Help!

I just got my HDTV receiver put in today (AWESOME) and the installation guy hooked it up using component cables but I asked if the receiver could use HDMI and he said yes. After he left, I went to plug in the HDMI cable I have and there was no place to put it! There is a place to put DVI--can I get a converter or something?

You can get an HDMI-DMI cable. But why would you want to? There is no reason to believe you will get a better picture. Even if you go with the HDMI-DMI cable you will still need to run another cable for sound.
