Spotted Resident Evil: Apocalypse last night

I was wandering around one of the local Future Shop's last night and spotted a ton of Resident Evil Apocalyse on the shelf. I didn't recall seeing a review of this title, so I checked this morning again, and sure enough, it's not supposed to come out til the 16th. Has anyone got it yet? Had I known it wasn't officially out, I would have snatched it up to give everyone a review. Maybe I'll go back tonight..

I saw it at the east end Future shop here in Ottawa, but according to their website, they have stock at all three stores right now.

Whether or not the other 2 stores have put them out would be another story, but there was at least 10 copies on the shelf at the store on Ogilvie.

WOW, this title will look amazing. Are you absolutely sure it was blu ray . I know they have released at least 2 other titles before their release date, transporter 2 and descent, but these were only a couple of days before its official release.

Yup, it was the Blu-Ray version, complete with 5.1 uncompressed PCM track and the nice Blu case I'll pick it up tonight.

Ok then, you are forcing me to take a trip to Best buy today during my lunch break, and if they don't have it I will be pissed JK, if they do have it though more power to you.

Just looked at the local best buy... nothing... not scheduled for release until Jan 16

although the bestbuy.ca website shows it available but sold out... does Canada have a different release date than us?

Yup I just went to my Local BB and there was not Resident Evil there. Oh well, but on my way home a storm system came into Georgia and everything turned a sickly green and it started to pour down rain and thunderstorm, then the tornadoe sirens went off, was quiet the adventure.

It is not in any Futureshop in the Toronto area.

My Japanese version was delivered today. I had no idea this was coming out on the 16th. I would have waited!

Yonge & Eglinton

Not sure if they have them on the shelf yet, but a stock check says they have them.

I finally saw a couple on the store in McCowan & HWY7. Unfortunately, when I tried to pay for one, it scanned as "do not sell until Jan 16th". There was also no price. It's cruel and inhuman to tempt us like this, displaying the cases for everyone to see and hold, yet not allowing us to bring it home.

Thats awful! If they put them on the shelf, they shoud be forced to sell it. It will probably be the same thing when I try to pick up my copy tonight

All Canadians (Well, at least people from Toronto...) should buy RE: Apcolypse...

Just to see Nathan Phillips Square gets blown up.

I've finally cracked the seal on my Japanese version. This disc just completely justified my purchase of a Blu-ray player (to the Mrs. as well...FINALLY). For such a dark movie, the video was incredible throughout. The uncompressed track also provided one of our best HT experiences. This could be that KILLER APP. to own on BD. This will spin whenever guests swing by...
