Help Me Remember the Name

I was talking to a friend of mine last night, and we were talking about gross out movies that really stayed with you for days after. We both agreed on Hostel, Saw one and two (niether of us saw 3), Texas Chainsaw and all the spinoffs, but there was one movie I saw that was set in Australia, and I can't remember the name. It was about a guy that would kidnap backpackers in the outback, take them back to his place, torture them and then slice them up. What made it especially scary is it is based on actual events.

Well there was a qualifier of the movie flashing through your head for a few days after. I have seen plenty of gorefest movies like all the Friday 13th and Freddy Kruger stuff, but they were so campy, you ended up laughing at them later. That guy who played the psyco was what made you cringe. I can still recall when he cut the girls fingers off and she started to scream, he says, what's wrong. That won't kill you. Then he severs her spinal cord. Jeez, I'm starting to freak myself out.
