Hello to all forum members, i'am from NY. I recently purchased a Samsung lns32s51 and a Samsung DVD-HD860. I have a couple of questions being that i'am new to this, whats better 1080i or 720p? what do you guys think of this dvd upconverter and last whats better x-box 360 hd dvd or the dvd player i have now(samsung 860) im planning on buying the x-box 360 w/ hd dvd, is it worth it for me to get it?? thank you for your time.....

I'd get the HD DVD player with 360 and keep your current Samsung 860. They are two totally different animals. I would set the output of your device to what ever the native rez of your TV is. If your TV is 1080p, then 720p would most likely be best, but you it depends on the TV.
